Acquisition of RVSM specific flight test data is often required as part of the certification process. AeroMech plans and conducts instrumented flight tests in support of RVSM certification programs. AeroMech develops the flight test plan, flight profiles, and test conditions. We then supervise the installation of flight test equipment and execution of the actual flight test. Instrumentation includes a trailing cone assembly and a portable data acquisition system capable of recording the necessary flight performance data. An FAA Flight Test Engineer or Flight Analyst DER is provided as required to coordinate and witness the flight test, and collect the necessary data.
