CFD and Aircraft 3D Modeling

The AeroMech aerodynamics team is proficient at utilizing CFD to help show compliance to various FAA Part 23/25 regulations for STC programs that involve Outer Mold Line (OML) changes. AeroMech is able to create these analyses / reports in house for efficient and cost-effective solutions to show compliance to Aerodynamic Loads / Static Loads, Aerodynamic Drag, Vibration and Buffeting, Icing, Acoustics, and more.

AeroMech CFD validation and model validation processes have been approved by the FAA and are trusted industry wide.

Engineering and Certification

AeroMech has accomplished over 270 STCs in 30 years of business, and primarily specialize in STCs for the installation/certification of the following:

1. WIFI Systems STCs

2. Avionics Installation STCs

3. RVSM STCs

4. STCs involving Outer Mold Line (OML) changes (common with special mission aircraft).

Flight Testing

AeroMech has managed over 450 successful flight test programs.

AeroMech provides turn-key solutions for flight testing required on various certification programs. AeroMech can provide personnel to develop flight test plans, flight profiles, test conditions, installation of flight test equipment, installation conformity activity, and conduct instrumented, DER-witnessed flight tests in support of these efforts.
