The hired individual will need to be located at our branch office based in Incheon, South Korea for anywhere between 3-12 months out of the year. Housing and relocation expenses would be covered as part of the position offered. The amount of time spent in Korea is to be negotiated and further discussed during the interview process.
The position requires extensive experience with FAA engineering, certification and airworthiness requirements, and how they can apply to various STC and TSO programs for Part 23 and Part 25 aircraft. The hired individual will play a key role in overseeing engineering and certification data, documents, and deliverables that apply to various STC programs.
Tasks are not limited to, but will eventually include the following:
Development of project specific certification plans (PSCPs), compliance checklists, and other documents to support STC project applications.
Develop, review and / or manage certification data, documents and deliverables that apply to various STC projects.
Communicate with the key technical focals (DERs / UMs) who are responsible for developing and / or approving the data / documents.
Provide effective mentorship for entry and mid-level certification and engineering personnel based in Korea.
Technical program management and oversight for various STC and TSO programs.
Requirements include:
A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience with engineering and certification work to support development of STCs, TSOs and / or PMAs for Part 23 / Part 25 aircraft.
Excellent leadership skills, and verbal / written communication skills are required.
Must present well in front of current / prospective customers, vendors and other companies that work with AeroMech.
A past working relationship with the FAA, ODAs, and / or other certifying authorities is preferred, but not required.
This is a full-time position.

AeroMech is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven individual to support our FAA STC ODA and assist the ODA Administrator. This role will help ensure ongoing compliance with our ODA procedures manual and FAA regulations, maintain certification documentation, and support ODA responsibilities for multiple STC programs. As experience grows, the candidate will assume increasing responsibility within the ODA organization, with the potential to ultimately serve as the AeroMech ODA Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
ODA Administration Support
Assist with maintaining full compliance with FAA Order 8100.15 and AeroMech ODA Procedures.
Update ODA procedures, appendices, and unit member records; coordinate training and qualification tracking.
Support internal ODA activities including self-audits, unit member evaluations, and corrective action planning.
Coordinate with the FAA Oversight Management Team (OMT), including submitting required reports and responding to audit requests.
Participate in (and eventually lead) RAIL meetings, ODA reviews, and project-related certification meetings.
Maintain accurate records of ODA and project correspondence, decisions, and approvals.
Certification Documentation and Configuration Management
Draft, review, and process FAA forms such as 8100-11, 8110-1, 8110-2, 8100-26, and related internal ODA forms.
Track certification deliverables and collaborate with engineering leads, program managers, and technical reviewers.
Ensure proper configuration management of certification files, project folders, and document releases.
Perform non-technical reviews of engineering documents and drawings to verify completeness and alignment with certification requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential and required.
2–10 years of experience in FAA Part 23 / Part 25 certification or relevant aerospace roles is preferred.
Familiarity with FAA Orders, ODA processes, and STC programs is preferred but not required.
Ability to work effectively with FAA personnel, suppliers, and internal teams.

This full-time role is based at our main engineering office in Mukilteo, WA. The Electrical Design and Integration Engineer will play a key role in supporting AeroMech’s existing Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) and helping develop new STCs for the installation of inflight connectivity systems, avionics, and other aircraft systems and equipment. The hired individual will create electrical installation design packages, system interfaces, and develop the related analyses and substantiation data for interior systems, equipment installations, antennas, avionics, and other aircraft modifications across a wide variety of platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop aircraft wiring diagrams, wire routing drawings, harness drawings, and associated electrical design data.
Create electrical analyses (load analysis, EMI/EMC considerations, bonding/grounding, etc.) and prepare the resulting engineering reports.
Support electrical aspects of aircraft surveys and onsite data collection, including periodic travel to aircraft locations.
Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and certification engineers to ensure integrated, certifiable solutions.
Eventually provide engineering support during installation, testing, troubleshooting, and final approval activities.
Participate in design reviews, internal peer checks, and quality-control processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
2–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and similar electrical design tools.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong interest in aviation is essential.
Willingness to travel periodically in support of aircraft surveys, installation support, and testing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing aircraft electrical design and installation packages, including wiring and harness designs as well as the associated substation data (ELA, EMI/EMC consideration, etc.)
Familiarity with FAA Part 23 and Part 25 airworthiness requirements and certification processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent AeroMech professionally to suppliers and customers.
