Electrical Design and Integration Engineer
This full-time role is based at our main engineering office in Mukilteo, WA. The Electrical Design and Integration Engineer will play a key role in supporting AeroMech’s existing Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) and helping develop new STCs for the installation of inflight connectivity systems, avionics, and other aircraft systems and equipment. The hired individual will create electrical installation design packages, system interfaces, and develop the related analyses and substantiation data for interior systems, equipment installations, antennas, avionics, and other aircraft modifications across a wide variety of platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop aircraft wiring diagrams, wire routing drawings, harness drawings, and associated electrical design data.
Create electrical analyses (load analysis, EMI/EMC considerations, bonding/grounding, etc.) and prepare the resulting engineering reports.
Support electrical aspects of aircraft surveys and onsite data collection, including periodic travel to aircraft locations.
Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and certification engineers to ensure integrated, certifiable solutions.
Eventually provide engineering support during installation, testing, troubleshooting, and final approval activities.
Participate in design reviews, internal peer checks, and quality-control processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
2–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and similar electrical design tools.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong interest in aviation is essential.
Willingness to travel periodically in support of aircraft surveys, installation support, and testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing aircraft electrical design and installation packages, including wiring and harness designs as well as the associated substation data (ELA, EMI/EMC consideration, etc.)
Familiarity with FAA Part 23 and Part 25 airworthiness requirements and certification processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent AeroMech professionally to suppliers and customers.

Aviation Mechanical Drafter

This position is located at our office in Mukilteo, WA, with potential travel to customers and installation sites as required.
The Mechanical Drafter will support aircraft modification and sustainment activities by developing, maintaining and updating detailed mechanical and structural design packages for FAA STC programs, primarily using SolidWorks. This role is responsible for creating, updating, and reviewing parts, assembly, and installation drawings for aircraft systems and equipment installations. The position also supports configuration management activities and ensures drawing packages remain accurate and up to date throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements include:
At least three (3) years of previous experience developing mechanical part drawings, assembly drawings, and installation drawings for equipment that is installed in aircraft.
Proficiency with SolidWorks and / or analogous mechanical design software is required.
Must be knowledgeable with aviation standard drafting practices.
Preferences Include:
A keen interest in aviation is essential.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with cross-functional engineering and operational teams.
This is a full-time position.

Aircraft Structures Liaison Engineer
The hired individual will play a key role in supporting aircraft structural installation activities and resolving in-service engineering issues associated with AeroMech-developed STC installation packages. This position will support aircraft modification and sustainment activities by reviewing engineering drawings, evaluating installation deviations, developing repair or alteration instructions, and coordinating with engineering, customers, airlines, MROs, and installation teams to ensure successful and timely project execution.
Tasks include reviewing aircraft structural installations and engineering drawings, supporting on-site STC installations, evaluating repair and alteration requirements, coordinating engineering changes based on customer or operational needs, and developing technical solutions to support aircraft maintenance and modification activities. The individual will also assist with technical troubleshooting, service engineering support, and operational coordination for aircraft maintenance events.
Requirements include:
1. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in aircraft structural liaison engineering, aircraft sustainment engineering, or service engineering.
2. Experience creating aircraft repair and/or alteration instructions.
3. Experience reading, interpreting, and reviewing aerospace engineering drawings and technical documentation.
4. Experience with standard OEM and MRO procedures, installation practices, and aircraft maintenance operations.
5. Experience supporting technical issues and service-related engineering activities.
6. Experience communicating technical requirements and engineering solutions with airlines, customers, and MRO facilities.
7. Experience creating or reviewing 2D and/or 3D drawings for aircraft repairs or alterations.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important for this role.
9. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with cross-functional engineering and operational teams.
Preferences Include:
10. Experience supporting STC development and aircraft modification programs.
11. Experience with Boeing and/or Airbus Structural Repair Manual (SRM) documentation.
12. Experience performing stress analysis for aircraft repairs and alterations.
13. Experience supporting aircraft MRO operations and on-site installation activities.
14. Familiarity with FAA certification processes, aircraft modification approvals, and liaison engineering support activities is preferred but not required.
15. Having a keen interest in aviation (in general) is highly preferred.

Job Title: CNC Operator – UMC-1000SS

AeroMech is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to support machining operations at our Sanford, FL facility. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining a Haas UMC-1000SS Vertical Mill to produce high-quality parts that support our aerospace manufacturing and modification programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and committed to precision, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate Haas UMC-1000SS to produce parts per engineering drawings and specifications
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining
Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic program adjustments as required
Monitor machining processes to ensure part quality and adherence to tolerances
Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Maintain proper documentation of work performed, including job travelers and inspection records
Troubleshoot minor machining or program issues and escalate when necessary
Ensure proper machine maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards
Work closely with engineering, planning, and production teams to meet schedules and deadlines
Maintain organized work area and follow all company and FAA-related quality procedures
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience; Haas experience preferred
Experience operating CNC machines; UMC-1000SS experience is a strong plus
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T preferred
Familiarity with G-code and basic program editing
Experience with aerospace or tight-tolerance manufacturing environments preferred
Proficient with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
