The Mechanical Drafter will support aircraft modification and sustainment activities by developing, maintaining and updating detailed mechanical and structural design packages for FAA STC programs, primarily using SolidWorks. This role is responsible for creating, updating, and reviewing parts, assembly, and installation drawings for aircraft systems and equipment installations. The position also supports configuration management activities and ensures drawing packages remain accurate and up to date throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements include:

1. At least three (3) years of previous experience developing mechanical part drawings, assembly drawings, and installation drawings for equipment that is installed in aircraft.

2. Proficiency with SolidWorks and / or analogous mechanical design software is required.

3. Must be knowledgeable with aviation standard drafting practices.

Avionics Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Avionics Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in aircraft electrical and electronics systems. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing avionics and electronic systems on a variety of [General Aviation / Commercial / Defense] aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, test, and repair aircraft avionics, electrical systems, radar, navigation, communications, and flight control systems using specialized test equipment.

• Installation & Upgrades: Install, wire, and integrate modern avionics suites, wiring harnesses, and related aircraft hardware according to blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.

• Maintenance & Inspections: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, wire routing, pin crimping, and system checkouts in compliance with FAA regulations.

• Documentation: Complete accurate sign-offs, work orders, and logbook entries adhering to FAA regulations and company quality assurance guidelines.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 

  • Minimum 2 years of verified experience as an Avionics Technician in an MRO, repair station, or flight line environment.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency reading and interpreting aircraft electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

  • Solid hands-on experience with wire harness fabrication, routing, soldering, crimping, and pin extraction.

  • Proficiency with multimeter, pitot-static testers, and avionics test sets.

• Licensing/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Formal Avionics training (Aviation Military Training, Technical/Trade School degree, or equivalent) preferred.

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or NCATT AET certification is a strong plus.

• Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand or bend for extended periods.

• General: Must bring own basic hand tools (specialized tools provided). Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities will include evaluating new design concepts and performing static stress analyses to substantiate AeroMech-developed structural parts and installation designs for inflight connectivity and other aircraft systems and equipment.

Key responsibilities may include structural design development and review, engineering drawing review, static stress analysis, and preparation of structural substantiation reports and other certification data required to support FAA STC projects.

Required Skills:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience developing static structures / stress substantiation analyses and reports for the installation of various systems and equipment on aircraft.

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other computational techniques used to simulate how aircraft structure or aircraft materials behave under various conditions.

Position Summary:

AeroMech Incorporated is seeking an experienced ERP Systems & Data Manager to serve as the primary system owner, administrator, and internal subject matter expert for our Vista-Suite Enterprise ERP platform by Ambry Hill Technologies.

As AeroMech implements Vista-Suite across its operations, this position will play a critical role in ensuring the system is properly configured, maintained, and utilized throughout the organization. The ERP Systems & Data Manager will oversee system administration, data integrity, user management, reporting, process development, troubleshooting, training, and ongoing optimization.

This role will also have primary administrative responsibility for AeroMech's electronic recordkeeping environment, including coordination with the FAA regarding electronic signatures, electronic records compliance, and applicable audits, surveillance activities, and inspections.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Vista-Suite power user and system administrator who understands both the technical capabilities of the platform and the operational processes behind the data.

Key Responsibilities:

Vista-Suite System Administration

• Serve as AeroMech's primary system owner, administrator, and internal subject matter expert for Vista-Suite Enterprise.

• Manage system configuration, administrative settings, user accounts, roles, permissions, and access controls.

• Maintain system tables, master data, workflows, transaction settings, and other administrative configurations.

• Establish and maintain companywide standards for Vista-Suite usage.

• Coordinate with Ambry Hill Technologies on system support, troubleshooting, enhancements, upgrades, and technical issues.

• Evaluate new Vista-Suite capabilities and recommend improvements that provide operational value.

• Manage system changes and enhancements from identification and prioritization through testing and implementation.

ERP Implementation & Process Development:

• Play a lead role in AeroMech's implementation and continued rollout of Vista-Suite.

• Assist with data migration, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation from legacy systems and spreadsheets.

• Work with department leaders to map business processes into Vista-Suite.

• Develop standardized ERP workflows and best practices across departments.

• Identify opportunities to eliminate redundant spreadsheets, manual processes, and duplicate data entry.

• Test and validate new workflows, modules, reports, and system changes before deployment.

Data Management & Governance:

• Maintain the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of data within Vista-Suite.

• Establish standards for master data creation and maintenance.

• Monitor customer, vendor, part, inventory, pricing, purchasing, sales, work order, and other operational records.

• Perform routine data audits and reconciliations.

• Identify and correct duplicate, incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate records.

• Develop controls to prevent recurring data-quality issues.

• Support aviation traceability and recordkeeping requirements.

FAA Electronic Records & Compliance:

• Administer Vista-Suite electronic recordkeeping processes to support applicable FAA regulatory requirements and AeroMech procedures.

• Coordinate with the FAA, AeroMech Quality, and accountable management regarding electronic records and electronic signatures.

• Manage electronic signature processes, permissions, authentication, controls, and associated documentation.

• Support FAA audits, surveillance activities, inspections, and reviews involving ERP-managed records.

• Maintain appropriate audit trails, access controls, record integrity, security permissions, and change-management controls.

• Support procedures and controlled documentation governing electronic records and electronic signatures.

• Help ensure Vista-Suite configuration and business processes remain aligned with approved FAA procedures.

Operational ERP Support & Reporting:

• Provide Vista-Suite administration and support for inventory, purchasing, sales orders, work orders, production, bills of material, kitting, repair orders, shipping and receiving, labor recording, and digital records.

• Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, forms, and management reporting.

• Work with leadership to establish KPIs and reporting requirements.

• Validate report accuracy and reconcile system reports when necessary.

• Analyze ERP data to identify trends, exceptions, and data-quality issues.

• Help transform ERP data into actionable information for management decision-making.

User Training & Support:

• Create and maintain user accounts, security roles, and permissions.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal Vista-Suite questions and issues.

• Troubleshoot user, data, and workflow problems.

• Develop user guides, procedures, training materials, and quick-reference resources.

• Conduct initial and recurring Vista-Suite training.

• Support onboarding of employees requiring system access.

• Promote consistent system usage and accountability across departments.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, visibility, compliance, and automation through Vista-Suite.

• Partner with department leaders to improve ERP-supported workflows.

• Identify manual processes that can be incorporated into the ERP system.

• Recommend system enhancements based on operational and regulatory requirements.

• Develop permanent solutions to recurring system and user issues.

• Support future expansion of Vista-Suite across AeroMech locations and business functions.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of direct, hands-on experience with Vista-Suite by Ambry Hill Technologies.

• Advanced knowledge of Vista-Suite functionality, administration, workflows, and reporting.

• Experience administering or supporting an ERP system in an operational business environment.

• Strong understanding of master-data management and data integrity principles.

• Experience with inventory, purchasing, sales orders, work orders, manufacturing, MRO, or similar transactional workflows.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Location:

This position is associated with AeroMech's Sanford, Florida operation. AeroMech prefers candidates who can work on-site or maintain a regular presence in Sanford; however, remote work may be considered for an exceptional candidate with significant Vista-Suite experience and demonstrated ability to independently administer the platform.

Periodic travel to AeroMech facilities will be required for remote employees. The individual must also be available to support FAA audits, surveillance activities, inspections, and other compliance-related activities as required.

Compensation:

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, with consideration given to Vista-Suite expertise, ERP administration experience, aviation industry knowledge, FAA electronic-recordkeeping experience, and implementation experience.
